Need some assistance

This is not a Parker question per se, but I could use some assistance. I am in need of another setter. My trainers and providers in Dutchess County, NY, have died. I also used Brian Lucas in Tilghman Island in Maryland but he is no longer in business.

Preferably, I am looking for a two year old finished setter. If I can't find one I'll have to settle for a puppy and send him out for training when it is old enough. I have had a few Brittanies and they are great dogs but I try to focus on setters because they are traditional grouse dogs. And besides, I have never seen a Brittanny engraved on a Parker.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. It's sad that my old contacts are now gone.

Tom,
There's not many but there are some as the AHE 20 below shows. Perhaps you missed it but any time I want to look at Parkers and dogs I go back to this thread. http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthr...highlight=dogs

Tom, you might want to contact PGCA Members Legh or Jenn Higgins of Lowell, VT - owners and trainers of Coronation Kennels, home of the Twombly line of English setters started in 1925. My Grace of Coronation came from them.

Tom,
I am having trouble responding to messages. Send me an email at mfitt(at)optonline.net and replace the (at) with @. I may have a lead for you and email is easier anyway.
