Help Identify this Parker Shotgun 9 Attachment(s) Wondering if someone can help identify this Parker Shotgun. We believe it is a pre-1874 "Dollar Grade". It is laminated Steel Barrel Construction, and from this forum we believe it is 1 of 146 laminated steel barrel guns of the first roughly 3400 Parker guns manufactured. Please assist further if you can. Thanks in advance. |

Where does the 146 laminated steel guns information come from? |

I believe the 146 laminated steel barrel production number is from page 242 of TPS Vol. 1 of pre-1874 Parkers. That is a nice gun! I think grade wise it would have been a grade 1 equivalent. |

The checkering pattern of the forend would likely indicate the dollar-quality equivalent of the Grade 2 guns. . |

Thank you all for your time and consideration. |

Jay, thanks for referring me to that page. I had mistakenly assumed that some of the Laminated guns were in the first 1500 guns that are not documented. I learn something new every time I look at The Parker Story. I also learned that my little Grade 1 hammerless 20 gauge Laminated gun is a bit uncommon. |
