Serial 205469
4 Attachment(s)
Good morning.
I am researching this gun. One of the things that I am not clear about is the Grade Mark is OV? It's 28" and appears to be a 20 Gauge, Trojan Steel. Anyone have estimates on the value also with this mark would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
Your Serial # is not in the book ,But your gun is in fact a Trojan Grade " OV " !

All of the other things that I own are modern production. I am Parker illiterate. What is the significance or not of this? |
I just scrolled down to the bottom of the page and noticed You are our Newest Member Russ in the PGCA ,Welcome Aboard ! If you go to our home page and look up Grades ,you will see how the Parker Guns are Graded ! The OV being the lowest Grade of Hammerless Parker Guns working it's way from the end of the Alphabet forward ! With that said ,the 20 Gauge Trojan is always a popular gun for Parker Buyers ! Also we have a Parker For Sale section for Members only !

Gotcha - I looked at the main site and I didn't see OV yesterday. Hence my confusion. I will look at it again. |

Russ ,I just looked also ,sorry to say that particular marking is not shown in any of the Trojan Pictures but if you look at the beautiful example in the Trojan Photos with the Original Box ,on the upper left hand corner of the card board shipping Box in the Grade you will see the Letters OV ! Hope this helps !

I have a pair of Trojan 20's, great shooting guns. In fact my double on doves was taken with one. Enjoy yours. Spin |
Russ, the Trojan Grade is marked OV. The O grade is a V grade in the hammerless era, one grade above the Trojan, or OV. Good luck in your research.
