Stumbled on his web site. Lot of interesting post, some on shotgun ballistics others on hunting. Give it a try.

I was happy to see the Cheddite primer had the lowest pressure of the lot - it's what I use.

Tom is a great resource and a very nice man. He has been very good and helpful to me in my quest to develop 10 gauge and 12 gauge low pressure loads. His charge of $15. Per shell for testing is a bargain and offers great peace of mind.

I had him test some shells when I blew up a 1889 Remington. I had loaded IMR PB by mistake thinking it was Pyrodex - 94grs. If I remember it was 22,500psi. I was shooting skeet and got to station two doubles. That was four shells through each barrel before the left barrel had a shell sticking out the chamber. A hour and 23 stiches latter everything was ok. My wife insisted I quite shooting that day. Don't know why, I had a couple more guns to blow up.
