I don't recall ever seeing checkered triggers on a Parker. Do you think that feature to be factory?
Beauty of a gun, and as always many thanks for letting us see it.

The trigger treatment would have been specially ordered as that feature was not standard for the Grade-4 Parkers.

Bruce,

What steel are the Remington barrels marked? Just curious.

Bruce Day 11-29-2017 12:02 AM

1 frame. 6 1/2 lbs.

Checkered triggers are unusual but sometimes seen. I believe this work was done upon return to Remington.

Remington barrels are not marked concerning steel type. Remington used a CroMoly spec that the company termed ordinance steel.

Another beautiful C grade. What’s engraved on the oval?
