28” Rem barrels added in 1939. 1904 gun, originally Damascus. Barrels are choked IC and Full.

I don't recall ever seeing checkered triggers on a Parker. Do you think that feature to be factory?

The trigger treatment would have been specially ordered as that feature was not standard for the Grade-4 Parkers.

What steel are the Remington barrels marked? Just curious. |
1 frame. 6 1/2 lbs.
Checkered triggers are unusual but sometimes seen. I believe this work was done upon return to Remington. Remington barrels are not marked concerning steel type. Remington used a CroMoly spec that the company termed ordinance steel. |
