Trojan 20 ga.

Would a 13 1/2 " LOP be factory original on a Trojan grade shotgun?

Jim DiSpagno 11-20-2017 03:50 PM

Only if ordered that way otherwise factory LOP would be 14 18-14 1/4 “

Thanks....saw one that looked good but the 13 1/2" LOP scared me!
1921 Vintage Trojan model w/ 2 1/2" chambers...
$3000 price seemed steep....
Thanks again for the reply.

The butt will also be fitted with a plain serrated buttplate and will have a curve to it if factory.

I just sold a 20ga Trojan with 28" barrels,rib extension,and 141/4"LOP over a Silvers pad for $2000.$3000 seems very strong.

According to '27 and '37 Parker catalogs Trojans were only offered with 14" LOP, however, Parker does not measure its LOP to the edge of the trigger but rather to the center of the radius of the trigger which happens to be 3/8' R. the procedure is explained on page 32 of the '37 catalog.
