California Hardware Company
Anyone have any info on this company?
I have recently encountered a few Fox's and Parker's sent there. All 32 inches. Thanks, James |
They were a winchester dealer in the early 1900s

Lydiksen http://www.prolades.com/glama/la5co0...eTokyo1940.pdf They were on the corner of Alameda and 1st street in 1950 http://japantownatlas.com/share/Litt..._11x17_set.pdf or it may have just been warehouses |
I had a #2 Ithaca 10 gauge Magnum with a single trigger that went there in 1934. It had 32" barrels.

Trina Brown was quite helpful with a recent research project, and scanned a catalog in the collection for us. It appears that the California Hardware is 2000 pages, but she might scan the pages listing Parker & Fox guns.
