Local Chapters of the PGCA
Are there local chapters of the PGCA? I am thinking about starting one here in Western Pennsylvania, or at least a local group for Parker Gun enthusiasts. Thank you.

there are no official "chapters" that i know of
and no structure in the organization for it but that being said - no reason why a group of Parker shooters who live near each other shouldn't get together for shooting and sharing their Parkers i would just expect you can't use PGCA as a legal entity |

A Parker "Happy Hour" at a micro brewery might be fun--I only live 5 miles from the western Pa. border

Excellent ideas! Thank you for the replies.

Localized Parker owners getting together to shoot is a lot of fun and fills in the gaps between sanctioned PGCA events.

A big thank you to everyone for your replies.
Last evening over dinner we had the inaugural meeting of the Parker Gun Club of Western Pennsylvania. Attendance was 100% - all three of us! We resolved to have informal Parker enthusiast get-togethers throughout the year and an annual fun shoot in the spring or fall. We'll see where it goes from there. John Bamonte |
I would attend any "local" Parker collectors event scheduled for my area of DC, MD, VA, or Southern PA, but we are already so tied up with side by side events in our area so that there is hardly any room for others. These are not specifically Parker events, but they are where Parkers are shot, shown, and sold. The California side by side organization is not specific to any brand of shotgun, but is home to very serious side by side collectors, and that is where the guns are displayed and sold. We wish we could have such a serious collector group on the right coast.
