Will Trojan barrels fit a G grade
I am at a gun show. There is a set of 26" Trojan Barrels with a fore arm for an 0 frame for sell. I am working on a 0 frame G grade. Would they work on the G grade? My gun has 16 gauge barrels and I thought it would be good to have some 20 gauge barrels. Thanks for any advice.

The Trojan barrels do not have the dolls head extension that you need for any other Parker gun.

Depending upon the Trojan it might have a Dolls head. I would be more curious about if tje forearm would work or not.
I dont know tje answer unfortunately |
The rib extension if the barrels have one will not fit a G grade gun as made. You would have to use a short rib extension from a graded gun among other things.

Trojans did not have "dolls head" style rib extensions. The early ones had a straight extention. Trojan barrels can be physically fitted to a graded gun and function, but without swapping in and fitting a graded extension, it would not be made to completely be correct. And yes, the forend loops are different on trojans as well. |
Where to go now?

So I took the plunge. Here are a few pics. Barrels are 28" IM/IM, good bores and they ring.

Another "number 2" trojan barrel set. And corresponding forend. This is the second example i have personaly seen. Proof positive that parker woild accept an order for a second barrel set on a trojan.

The picture also clarifies the answer to the question the poster was asking. "You don't need the doll's head for the gun to work". The Trojan forend will make the Trojan barrels work.
