Gunmaking perfection. Pure and simple.
Pump guns and semi-autos are "built." Like cars in Detroit.
These guns are crafted. By artisans.

This is what stands a truly fine gun apart from factory fodder. And aside from the men at the benches, Hollands' hasn't changed much since I was there last!

I expected to see much older men working on the guns. I was surprised at how young they appeared. Did you work there John?

Also. go up on YouTube and watch the Purdey video produced by Shooting Times, which is essentially a guided factory tour. The segments on lock making and stocks are unbelievable!

I've been to their "factory" more than once. It is fascinating to watch the skill and time that goes into the production of a "London Best". Most interesting to me is the engraving room. It's an art where you don't want to heare the word "Oops!".
