Good Morning

I bought this gun for my grandson but then bought him a new one because I was concerned about being able to shoot it. Here is some info I see here you might need to help me. frame size 1. weight 4 7. type steel 030.
grade 0 ?? maybe? 3rd check hook lug. Top lever. twist steel barrels.
This info is what I see here on your forum.
Can anyone help me with what gauge it is? and any other info?
The butt plate has a dogs head. has a silver shield.

The ID & Ser book lists it as a 12 ga. grade 0 with 32 inch plain twist barrels, top lever and caped pistol grip stock
