Rare bird encountered and purchased.

Stumbled (literally) into an unusual gun the other day and bought it. It's a Sterlingworth 20 gauge ejector made in 1937. That in itself isn't that unusual, but the fact that it has a factory beavertail makes it very hard to come by. Particulars are it's a 20 gauge 26" full/mod with an uncapped pistol grip and twin ivory beads. Posted it over on the Fox Forum Member's section and while a few folks have seen the Upland Game and Skeet version with English Stocks, no one can recall seeing this exact combination. Apparently it was an option for the base SW for the first time in 1937 and wasn't popular (well, because it's kinda ugly). Gun had a couple things done to it over the years. The original owner actually bought it in 1958 for his wife and he cut the stock down to 13.5". Then somewhere over the years, he added a 1" Pach white line pad and had the barrel rerust blued in 1992 and the stock refinished (receiver not touched). So current LOP is 14.5" and DAH is 2 5/8". I can actually shoot this thing with those measurements. Anyway, thought I'd mention this to my Parker brethren.

Tom, yesterday I posted my "congratulations on finding such a rare and wonderful gun".

Today I go to find my post and I can't even logon with the password I have always used.... or at least the password I thought I always used. How does one contact the administrator over there to have a passwors reset??

Dean,

Send a note to Fox Admin and they can help you out. Yep, something weird going on there. It usually logs me in automatically, but I had to relog on this time. I'd almost forgotten my password, it has been so long since I've had to do that.
