model 1897 Baker
 
Trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a Baker mod. 1897. Good condition with some light engraving, fishtail top lever, and 32" twist barrels
F/XF, this is a heavy gun, certainly not one you would want to carry around.
Anybody have one, or know about them

what gauge is this gun...sounds like a 10 ga it being heavy...charlie

It is a 12 ga Charlie, I am just used to shooting those light 16 and 20 guages
