PGCA & Double events
 

Many of you may not use, or be aware of, the "Calendar" link found at the top of this page (and all forum pages) where you can both enter information on a shooting event and also look for one that has been scheduled.

As you guys post events for shooting, I try to enter the dates on that calendar for you, but I admit, I probably don't get them all. It would be better if you entered them directly.:whistle:

The Calendar exists for more than member birthdays, I suggest that more forum users take advantage of it. Take a look at it and see if there is something you might like to attend (or enter). Check it out and see if it's of use to you. I hope it is, especially if people start entering more shooting opportunities on their own!

Another good place to look for Parker shooting is the Events link on the left side of the PGCA home page. If someone knows of a PGCA shoot or gathering event, and wants it posted there, please PM me with the information (but it must be double gun oriented).

I have the feeling these tools are not used by most forum members but if we start using them it may enhance our shooting opportunities? I just thought a little advertising might help get the calendar function more entries.

I looked at the calendar and found only member names entered. When I clicked I only got the profile. How or were are the events?

Bob, Those names with the birthday cake beside them are simply reminders of member's birthdays.
I don't see any event dates on the Jan & Feb calendars.

True , I don't know of any events until April. If anyone has an event that takes place at any time, enter it if you want to invite forum members. The Calafornia guys sent in a long list of events (some this month) but I didn't enter the long list in the calender but I did drop it into the "Events" page found via a link off the PGCA home page. (Lazy me.... sorry). If you want to take the calender process for a ride, feel free to enter one, or all, of the CA events listed in the Events page into the calender.

To enter an event, use the small "add event" box in the lower right of the calender window.

OK, I added all I know about, including the shoots posted by the California Doubles guys. You should find something in the Jan calendar now.
