parker belgium
 
i have run across a hammer double marker parker and belgium. the barrels are damascus. there is no other indication that it is actually a parker. any thoughts?

Sorry to say it's NOT a Parker Brothers gun ... There were several companies in Europe that sold inferior guns under the Parker name ... Yours happens to be a gun that was made in Belgium.

As Jim said, it's a low quality Belgian gun given a "Name Brand" to fool the unknowing; Sam Holt, T. Barker & W. Richards are others. It can not be made safe to shoot, with ANY load.

Those old Belgium guns were built for hanging over a fireplace.
