AAHE forend checkering recut.
4 Attachment(s)
Thought this one would be nice to show...
A 12g. AAHE forend that had full cover 28 line per inch checkering. Mostly all the lines were visible, but had little feel. The full pattern was recut along with mullered borders. The pattern is being left bare to return to the customer since I was just doing the forend and have no idea what the grip looks like to try and match it. I guess it was in good condition. May we see a picture after the finish has dried?
Nice checkering job. . |
Brian, How long did it take for your eyes to uncross after that job?
In all seriousness, it looks great! What kind of time did it take, if I may ask? |

As per my original post, i am not applying any finish to this. That wil be the owners perogitive as to what he wants to do with it. The job took a few hours (combined time). It is hard to keep track of really. |
You are, sir, a master.
 |
We are disappointed that we can't see the whole package.

Sorry, it is all i have of it.

Brian,
