Picture of the fanciest V grade original stock

If anyone has an original V grade with a fancy stock please post a picture. I need to put wood on a 16 ga 32" VH, it will always be a reatock and I could do anything but I don't want to go over the top. A example of something nice would help me understand the variability that existed at the factory.

Brian, under Remington's ownership, primarily at the Ilion plant, some pretty fancy figured American Black Walnut was commonly used - so if you have a later gun, Well-figured American Black would be appropriate.

Thanks Dean, even on V grade?

Indeed, even on V grade.

Brian, any American walnut blank that has feather crotch figure or curl in it will be considered "correct" for the grade.
It is the species of wood that is most important.

Granted, none of these are original stocks, they are all guns that I have restocked and supplied the wood from my inventory of blanks. All V grade guns varying from plainer to more highly figured, and all are grade appropriate.

Thanks for the examples, it's always good to see a completed stock to visualize what might work.
