Wood Pigeon Shooting in Scotland....

Managed a day decoying wood pigeon on my recent trip to Scotland. No Parkers in sight, borrowed a slick little straight grip Spanish double from my buddy Kristian. Picked up 12 plus a bonus banded feral pigeon.

23 cartridges, 14 down, 13 picked up. Wish there had been more birds around, I'd have cleaned up.

Destry, why was the feral pigeon banded? Sounds like a great hunt.

Probably a racing bird that hadn't returned home like it was supposed to.

That trip looks like a lot of fun.

I've killed a few banded ones here in the US but was real pleased to get one over there.
