Steak and shoot
5 Attachment(s)
Had our church steak and shoot last night. Had about 50 of us total. Ranging from a 6th grader to an 82 year old. Started out with grilling our own ribeyes then adjourned to the country to shoot. Nice assortment of modern and old guns, mine were the only parkers, but one gent had a Stevens side x side. We shot Wolf Chase and I can happily report the 10/12 DH handled abley in me winning several rounds and finishing 2nd in the final. I didn't miss, but wasn't quite as good at shooting pieces as our 4-H Trap champ.
The only downside to all my side x side shooting was I was horrible with the superposed yesterday. |
looks like a good time by all...you ll have to turn that over and under barrels sideways to be able to hit anything with it....charlie

Looks like you had a great time and an awesome turnout! Can you explain the game "wolf chase". I never heard of it before.

Wolf Chase is where you have 5 shooters lined up side by side and shoot trap one at a time. If the shooter in front of you misses their shot, you can shoot it and eliminate them from the round. So if it is shooter # 1s turn and they miss, 2 can shoot it and eleminate #1, if 2 misses 3 can shoot it and eleminate 1 and 2 an so on. Last man standing wins. If no one is really missing, you start shooting the broken pieces to eleminate the shooter in front of you.

Bill, Up here we call that game "Wipe yur eye" The reason you shot the Browning so bad is because the barrels are going the wrong way.....:rotf:
