I don't have much to go on besides these pics but what would a guy value this at? Small toe repairs and light crack at wrist repaired well.
|
Brian: I collect 10ga Elsies, -----it also appears the stock has been cleaned and finish added. I would place a value of $1500. to $1800.

Very nice !
I had said I was done buying Smiths and even though I have a Quality 2 10 gauge I'd be more then happy to add that one to my accumulation  |
Nice LC. Chain Damascus is one of my favorites. Why Parker didn't add them to their guns I have no idea.

Brian after sleeping on it I think I was to low on my estimate. I am thinking more like $1800 to $2500. The beautiful barrels and good cc make up for the wood issues. But it is just a guess without having the gun in hand. Craig

Say hello to my new friend, I appreciate the input as LC guns are not in my wheelhouse of gun values and collecting. It is very nice in hand, tight action, the wood is better in person and the barrels.......oh man the barrels!!!

Congratulations!
That is one handsome gun!! And a 10 ga, to boot! Very nice.

Good score!
I like it very much! |
I would have had trouble walking away from that one.

Gotta love those Chain Damascus barrels. I've seen quite a few Ithacas with them, and I have an early BE-Grade Remington with them --
