Pictures of muzzles on vent rib barrels

Hi I been lurking here for awhile and are there any pictures of muzzles with vent rib barrels?I am in process of buying a 16 gauge Vulcan with factory vent rib with splinter forend and double triggers with long tang factory straight grip stock. Were there any differences in say a field vent rib and trap? It has the half diamond on ramp of rib and single metal bead front sight. Thanks in advance,Bobby

You are a lucky guy to have such a rare gun. Any questions, please ask. Lower grade and smallbore vent rib guns are very seldom encountered. I took pity on one of our members and gifted him a very rare VHE vent rib trap with serious provenance, just because I like him. Some day, he will return the favor.

Thanks for the pictures and I see that one of the guns has the white metal bead like the gun I hope to have in hand in a few days.,i hope it passes my inspection.Bobby

Back in the late 60s Hershel C. had a 20 ga st grip VHE with beavertail and 32 inch vent rib barrels and I should have bought it! Bobby

Bobby don't miss out again.
And join the PGCA and get involved and maybe some icon like Bill Murphy will favor you like he did that someone special.

Does the seller have a PGCA letter on the gun? If not you can give us the serial number & someone can look to see if it's in the serialization book to see what options it has listed from the factory.

George, I only gift my rare Parkers to those who are "In Need". The member who benefitted from the VHE Trap gift was definitely in need of a Parker that could pull down the tall ones.

Thanks to all and after I inspect the gun and make the deal will do. Bobby
