P2 Grade Parkers
I have my eye on three P2 Grade Parkers, (serial #s beginning with 214, 228 and 234) all 16 gauge, hammerless with ejectors and nice engraving. Each gun is in very fine condition. They are priced around $5,000 each. Would like an opinion on the value.

2 have 28" barrels; 1 has 26" P2 Grade is straight out of Parker Guns Identification and Serialization book Any educated guess will be appreciated. |

Thanks for reply Jim. P2 is Parker Special Steel Grade 2. All are Frame Size 1.
214076 is GHE 228568 is GHE 234433 is DH I was told that P2 = G grade. Is that correct? I'm still learning..... I own 3 V grade Parkers and would like to acquire a finer gun. |
Yes, P2 = Grade2 or GH with typical grade 2 engraving. D grade is Grade 3
|
GH grade would typically have Damascus steel barrels until the advent of fluid steel then Parker Special Steel. Dh grade would be Damascus steel then Titanic steel. There are exceptions but generally that is the rule.

They're all worth $5000. Buy all three.
