Interesting V-Grade on Guns International
I have no personal interest in the gun. Just thought the configuration was somewhat unique, especially given the grade and age of the gun. I have never seen a V-grade with a raised comb. Appears to be original.

Very unusual but about eight or nine years ago KTP had a twenty-eight gauge VH or VHE with 28" barrels with a comb exactly like that one.
John Dunkle will remember that one. . |

I am pretty sure I have seen this gun on the internet for sale several years ago as well. If not it was also a V grade 12ga from 1899. |
I don't recall such an added comb as you describe Pete. You may be right, but I wonder if John would remember the comb being added or original.

Very interesting VH. Has anyone asked for a serial number?

The comb on that gun is High! I would be interested in what the dimensions measure on that one.
The stock does look original to me as well. If there is records available, they would surely point out that special feature. |
I remember a 20ga vhe with 30" barrels with a stock like that, it had a pad on it. A dealer had it at the Allentown Show in Pa.

This is a good example of the need for sellers to obtain letters from the PGCA before listing. For $42.50 its a good marketing expense.
