Picked up a early A grade Fox at Hausmann's , 12ga, 28" weight of 6lbs 11 oz. Barrels of Krupp steel and they say "Lightweight Barrel" .No one I talked to has ever seen that on a Fox barrel. One guy said he saw one that said heavyweight but never a lightweight . They weigh 3lb 1 oz for 12ga 28 inch. Serial # is 7144 ,made in 1906.

I handled this gun just after it was purchased and it is a very nice and light upland gun. An excellent buy.

This gun was mentioned several years ago on the Fox site. Dave Noreen saw it at Vegas and said it was the first "lightweight" he had seen.
