Destry, I think I found when your hat was made. It was in September 1925 that this hat was ordered especially for you, according to this issue of National Sportsman.

There are also some of the most bizarre articles of clothing in this issue that were probably shipped with the hat . . . :shock:

just sent in my money order for the new hat.got a 38 chevy and a 1901 parker that will look good with new hat.hope mine fits as good as destreys. charlie
