Anyone know how to get the auto safety removed/ disconnected from a Browning BSS?

Info that was provided above was helpful and partially correct.

So in case anyone else needs to know:

there are several versions of the L shaped device that connects to the safety and acts to block the sears.

yes you do have to reverse the rod that connects to the locking bolt.
but you also have to remove some metal from the front end of the L shaped device.
the first version is a single solid one piece design. I had to remove 150 thousands. the other version has a rod that screws into the L shaped device. In this case I had to remove 60 thousands.
They connect to the top lever and also act on the safety returning it to safe position.

Other than reversing the rod don't do anything else to it. As it must be present and un altered to make the single trigger work properly.

PS the picture shown above is for a selective trigger and both of mine are non selective. So looks like there were multiple versions/ alterations of the internal parts made.

Hope this helps.
