Charles Parker Shotguns
I was watching a movie the other night and one of the characters was using what the movie guns website identified as an 1878 Charles Parker 12 ga. It further said Charles Parker was absorbed by Remington in 1934. Story sounded familiar.
Same Parker? |
Give us a link to that movie guns website. It could be a Parker Bros. gun but I doubt it was a Charles Parker shotgun. If it was made in 1878, it would have been a Parker Bros. shotgun but Parker Bros was owned by Charles Parker.

Yes, the same, although the movie website is a bit inaccurate.
Only the Parker Gun Works was bought by Remington. The Charles Parker Company manufactured a LOT more than just shotguns. . |
I'm on my phone right now, and don't know how to post a link, but the movie was "Skyfall" a James Bond movie. The gun was a double 12 ga. used by a Scotish gamekeeper. I was sort surprised it was identified as an American gun.

Even gamekeepers across the pond knew a good gun when they saw one
