Need advice/ recommendations

Looking for advice for a good glove to withstand heat for a flurry event.

200 targets in 5 minutes time.

I would like to use a pair of guns but they have splinter forearms.

I have usually used beavertail guns with a shooting glove and this worked well. But I need a really good glove to use for splinter forearms.

Are there any welder gloves of mechanics gloves that are thin enough to give some tactile feel at the same time retarding heat?

I would think any glove for tig welding would work well. I habe a pair from Tilman. They are pretty thin, but work well for the heat.

Try Handball Gloves. Thick in the palm, vented in the back, designed for sweat and to breathe.

Here's your answer! I've been using a pair of these Gripswell GS-12 model gloves for many years shooting scores of flurries with my splinter forend 20-ga. Repro without any issues. They work.

Plus 1 on the grip swell gloves

Plus 2 on the GripSwell glove. I've had mine for many years.

Why not use leather handguards such as sold by CSMC and others. besides you can also use then in the field or for normal shooting.

A 200 bird in 5 minute flurry would be considered the Mother-of-all-Flurries. That undoubtedly would be the ultimate test for both gun and man. Good luck.

John. I have found "The Gun Glove" to be the best glove on the market for the shooting that we do. Check out their web site @ www.thegunglove.com.
All the best,
Buddy

I've heard that gripswells are no longer available. I love the SxS models with the extra heat protection. Anyone have any information on availability?
