Bert approves of hammer guns and is looking forward to hunting season again.

Bruce, do you know off hand if photo 3 is a small bore or not?

Mike Franzen 04-27-2016 09:26 AM

Bert has good taste.

Joe Dreisch 04-27-2016 09:11 PM

Bert is one fine looking dog. Good luck next season!

That one is not mine and I don't know.

Small bore hammer guns are uncommon as you know, but you did get to inspect that wonderful little D 20 Top Action Hammer , the Chicken Coop Gun, at the Foundation dinner. That gun truly had chicken feathers in the bores when it came in.

And I know you are working on a sweet little 0 grade 0 frame 16 top action hammer from my buddy Dr. Dick. Please fix that hair trigger....he hunts with us.

Brian Dudley 04-28-2016 08:22 AM

That gun is already on its way back to him.

What is the Jones underlever in photo 5?

Richard Dow 05-04-2016 06:11 PM

16g hammer

Bruce and others: Brian repaired my gun in one day. I haven't tested my "hair trigger" with ammo yet but the hammer is now much tighter and I am appreciative of Brians work.

Don't know for sure but I think that EP on point may trump the sexy hammers but hey I'm raciest. ch

I'm a setter person by choice but that pointer looks right sharp !
