Do most Remington era barrel flats have the gauge, chamber length and pressure proof marks as seen in David's picture, 12 65 800 BAR?

No. Dave's Remington era Parker is in England and by law, any gun brought or sent to England must pass proof and be stamped so.

It was not uncommon, though, for late Remington era uns though to have the gauge and shell length stamped on the side of the barrel lug. And the serial numner moved to the barrel flats.

You will see the serial number in his photo on the barrel flat.
