Early Parker Presentation Guns?...

On the subject of Award or Presentation Parker Guns. I know there were several over the years both hammer & hammerless presented at various events, and to various people.

I've been doing some research, and my area of interest has narrowed to early Hammer Guns with a large VH style escutcheon or shield in the right side of the stock. I am curious to know how many like this there may have been, just 1, or perhaps many more?...

The "Exact" style I am referring to is the same as the Hammer Gun in the top rack shown in the link below... If I remember correctly, that Hammer lifter gun now belongs to Todd K, but had also belonged to Allan Swanson in the past... I would like to know if anyone here currently owns one like it, or has ever seen another Hammer Gun with that large style shield in the right side of the stock?... I would also be interested if Todd K knows any history on his presentation gun, or maybe Allan Swanson remembers some history as well...

Thanks for taking a look... Link below.

Thanks Eric,
I got that information already, and realize it was a $65 grade...

I was looking for some actual history on the people associated with the presentation of the gun in 1875... Thought perhaps Todd, or the previous owner Allan Swanson, could share some background on the gun and the specifics related to the original presentation...

Also, Still interested in hearing from anyone else that may have ever seen, or owns a hammer gun with a similar large presentation shield in the right side of the stock.

Best, Chris

Still working on this subject...

My thanks to Larry Frey for sharing some photos of another presentation gun with a similar shield... And also, my thanks to Todd Kaltenbach & Allan Swanson for their help in keeping me on the right track with my research...
