Refinishing gunstock...very fine scratches in finish

I am refinishing a stock and have all grain filled, but when I hold the stock at an angle and catch light just right I see fine scratches in it. I have bee told to use a glaze or rottenstone to remove the scratches.

are you done except for this? or is the grain now filled and its time to build up the final finish

are the scratches in the final finish (polish needed) or in the wood (prep issues)

rottenstone is a fine polish- it will reduce the shine and remove minor imperfections

Grain is filled. Used permalyn sealer and completely filled the grain. These lines are in the finish not in the wood. They are very fine and not even visible most of the time. I have been told to just rub in some more coats to fill them. I have put 6 coats of benmatte finish rubbed in by hand then wiped off with a lint free rag. It looks really good but you can see the fine lines when hold it right and I am just wanting it really really smooth.
