recommendation for slip on pad?

I am looking for a good looking leather slip on pad to add about 1/2" LOP.
Any recommendations? Thank you.

NOT the pad that Brownell is selling now under the Brauer Brothers name. It is not fitted to a gun and Brownell has apologized for its lack of fit.

I love my leatherman pad. Check em out. Great products.

I like the CSMC pad.

I use a Pachmayr pad. They absorb recoil well, and the interior of the pad is quite soft so it won't leave any discoloration on your stock. ( at least they haven't on any of mine )

I have both the CSMC gamekeeper and the Galco

Either is a good choice

The Galco is better finished a bit more expensive and harder to find

I, too; have both and have the same conclusions that Rick has. Either brand adds 5/8" to the LOP on my guns.

Galco has two sizes and I love them both both, one for 28/410 stocks and the other for larger stocks. Very high quality and good looks.

Galco leather slip-ins are the better looking... so good in fact that mine was stolen about ten years ago and I haven't bought a replacement Galco since.
