Plain or engraved rib?

I just pulled Parker Reproduction 28-04138 out of the safe to prepare it for sale.
I noticed immediately that the rib was engraved with the "Parker Reproduction by Winchester East Alton IL USA Made in Japan".
I didn't recall seeing that previously, so I looked at my other two 28 gauge Repros. Both of them are marked on the left barrel, "Parker Reproductions by Winchester East Alton IL USA" and the rib is unmarked. They are serial numbers 2968 and 4090. All three are two barrel sets.

I'm sure this has come up before? I did a search, but came up with nothing.
Which way is your Repro marked?

My 12 gauges have the rib inscription and the 20 and 28 gauges are stamped on the barrel.

My 28 ga repro single barrel is marked on the left barrel "Parker Reproductions by Winchester" with gauge and address. Right barrel is marked Made In Japan. The rib is unmarked. This is number 28-3443.
