Hatfield - St. Jo Mo

A friend of mine has one he is looking to sell - Grade 2 Pigeon 20 Ga. This is a gun made in St Jo. What do you guys know about the gun and what do you think the range of values are. Thanx, Billy

They were made by an acquaintance ( Ted Hatfield) who came from the family of feud fame. They were Italian sourced in the white , fitted with figured maple stocks and finished in St Joseph , MO.

I've seen them go used for $1000 to $2000 for the basic guns, dependent upon condition. They are nice enough field shooting guns.

Look over the stock carefully. The curly maple often cracked in the wrist area!

Thanx guys - Billy
