D grade 2 frame 10a
 

It turns out my 3 frame 10 ga grade 3 is actually a 2 frame. It weighs 8 lb 7 oz and I just assumed she was a 3 frame gun. I am curious how unusual is a 2 frame 10 ga?
I know of one other and it weighs 9lb 4 oz.

David, as you know, mine is the 9lbs. 4oz. gun you mention... it would appear that yours is a true lightweight.

David, two frame hammerless tens are very common, just like three frame hammerless tens. Like what you like. Now four frame hammer tens are awesome, and much less common. I like them all.

David neglected to mention that the two guns he referred to are lifters.

my EH 2 frame hammerless is 8 3/4 lbs with 30 in barrels

Hmmmm I want an EH #2 with 28" or 26" factory barrels :whistle:

And a Grade 2 #4 frame with 34" barrels wouldn't be turned away either !
