Never say never
Book says there are no 1.5 20 gauges but there is supposedly one out there any thoughts.
|
What book? I don't know of any book that defines production figures as they relate to frame sizes.
No one knows down to the last gun that sort of detail. |
Anything's possible Calvin. Things pop up on a fairly regular basis that seem to disprove 'common knowledge.'
. |
Are you saying there are no 1 1/2 frame 20's?
|
Thanks Dean. I always appreciate your input. You understand my tough questions. :) best ch

Dean if you remember Austins little 20 lifter was a very small frame gun can you remember what size it was . It certainly was before the 00 frame guns, so yes never say never

When The Parker Story was published, not all frame size/gauge combinations were known. Even our own forum doesn't include all combinations in the chart, last time I looked. Among the frame/gauge combinations missing from our own forum chart are 000 frame 28, 1/2 frame 20 and 16, 1 frame 10, 2 frame 20, 3 frame 12 and 16, 6 frame 12, and 1 1/2 frame 20. These are combinations I have actually seen and examined. There may be others.

Gary, I would need to look it up to get the exact measurements but as I recall, the pin separation is closer than the 000 frames. Austin's and Tom's share the same measurements.
And now a 1 1/2 frame PH 20 bore comes to light. . |
Dean , I seem to remember Austin telling me the pin separation was 13/16"
|
I'm pretty sure they made no #6 frame .410's.
