I found a Charles Parker bench vise number 204 patented date 1910 at the DC big flea, question what is it worth? J.J.

How long is a piece of rope?

Kevin McCormack 01-09-2016 05:17 PM

J.J., meet me over there tomorrow and we will check % of original case colors and blue remaining, inspect the condition of the screws, see if they are """"timed"""", and the condition of the threads and jaw wall thickness. Impossible to assess value without these crucial evaluations. Thanks, K.

EBay often has some available. That would be a good guide

Up here in NY, various Parker vises, if in useable condition run between $25 and $50. I paid $25 for mine. In general Parker vises are not scarce as they seemed to be used in most machine shops between 1900 and 1945. Very good working vices and they can take a lot of abuse.
