Thomas Parker 410

Had a call today about a Thomas Parker 410 hammer shotgun. The gun is also marked Meriden, CT. I know there have been threads about these being mistaken for original Parkers, but I cannot find them in the various forms here. Any info or help will be appreciated as the caller did not seem to believe me when I explained the differences.

we would need to see pictures

there was a Thomas Parker in England and a lot of poor Belgium guns labeled Thomas Parker

pictures of the proof marks would tell

Thomas Parker was a gunmaker in Birmingham, England and would not have a Meridan, Conn. address (spurious)

Best Regards, George
