Parker Bros a little different and a guy shooting

Thanks again Gary, for sharing another of your wonderful hammerguns with us.
I think he was probably the most imaginative engraver Parker Bros ever had. He may not have been the most artistic but to put a thought or a sequence of thoughts to a piece of steel that everyone who beholds it can appreciate and enjoy, there was no better, in my mind. . |
thanks
very interesting and cool |
It's wonderful that Gary shares his fantastic guns with us!
|
The PB script is beautiful.
|
Dean who do you think did the engraving??
|
In my humble opinion it was Jacob Glahn who engraved that one. You can also see examples of his work on the cover of the Winter 2015 Issue of Parker Pages.... also some of Gary's high grade lifters. There will be more in the Spring 2016 Issue of Parker Pages... also some of Gary's......
Thanks Gary! :smiley7: . |
Gary thanks for sharing. From the " Parker Bros" would this be a 3 digit serial range gun? I think my grandfathers lifter has similar font style.
Best wishes for the coming year, Erick |
