12 gauge
1 Attachment(s)
I had a spot in the safe for a 12 gauge after selling a number of guns I didn't shoot or didn't fit me. Recently purchased this Dixon box lock made in the 1920s. Cased, 27 inch original barrels with faily open chokes, 2 1/2" chambers and some case color. It fits me very well.
A bit light for waterfowl but I'll find a #2 frame Parker deal in the new year. Shot some skeet with it and all is well. |
Very nice:cheers:

Very nice indeed, Eric! Feel free to post all the pics of that beauty you can.

A very nice boxlock there! I'll wager it has about 1/4 inch of cast off to help eye alignment.
And Dixson was a very well respected maker. Of course, he was a Scot... |
Very nice, I do like those English guns ,most have cast and a soul
