Any registered target shooters here?
Trap, skeet, sporting clays?
|
Todd,
I did all of those years ago until I ran out of money. Not sure I would want to shoot registered birds again. I did pistol and rifle as well, but again I just have too much going on doing nothing and never getting finished to make those comitments. Harry |

Yes, I shoot Sporting Clays a lot. I also shoot when the event has a SidexSide match.
Heading for the 4 State Zone this weekend and the US Open Early June . The US Open has a Side x Side match and shooting in it also. |
I have a little over 115,000 registered ATA lifetime targets and am a life member of the ATA however I have only shot 100 handicap targets total in the last few years since I've discovered how much fun it is to shoot sporting clays with a Parker SxS.

NSSA from 1974, USSCA from the beginning, NSCA from the beginning, International Skeet from 1984 when Dryke won the Gold Medal, shot only one ATA shoot in the eighties, but am an unofficial ATA historian. My lifetime ATA singles average is 96.00, not bad for a double gun shooter. I have carried AA and AAA NSSA cards, and A Class cards in NSCA and NRA International Skeet when NRA was the sanctioning organization. I now shoot very recreationally, as is proved by my performance at the recent Smith-Parker Challenge. I still shoot the very occasional NSSA shoot, but only to keep in touch with old friends.
