I had previously always equated the frame cracking issue with the very light weight Ithaca Flues Model small bores.

i was under the impression that the frame cracking issue (also thought is was a small guage issue) was resolved by a change in 1920

and really- the comment that it saw 11 years of service - hey what more could you ask for after spending a measly $95 :rolleyes:
