Parker Sterling Silver pocket matchsafe ?

I am new to the Parker Collectors Assoc. I am looking for information on authenticating a small matchsafe that I have. I want to find out about it's rarity and value . What I have is a small pocket matchsafe that looks to be sterling silver, but not marked. The top opens with a button on the side . The front and back are engraved with a hunter standing lighting his pipe, his gun by his side and his dog at his feet. This measures about 2 3/4in tall. It has patent dates on the bottom of both sides, one with 1872,73 &74 and C. Parker. The other side has Canadian patent 1873 also with the C. Parker. I would appreciate any information that you can offer, much appreciated, Craig

Not likely Sterling Silver. Nice item, though.

Sounds like the one that just sold on ebay.
It is a very nice piece.

There are about 3 pages showing Parker match safes in The Parker Story, pp. 888-901. The pages are reprints of pages from an 1886 and c. 1912 trade catalogues.
