Gift Parker

A cousin in Chicago gave me a cased VH two barreled set. The 30" barrels are .030 and .042 and the 26" barrels are .015 & .025. I am beginning to like it and I mean like it a lot. I am going to have to write an article for Parker Pages, but before I do that I will give two examples of why I like it. I shot in The Bluegrass Blast, a fund raiser for Boy Scouts. There were two flights. One went out in the morning and the second went out in the afternoon. Our team came in second in the second flight. A few weeks later I shot the in the Christ Church Cathedral Gentleman's Shoot. Left to right the Cathedrals Assistant Rector Brent Owens, my son in law Clay Dorsett, me and my grandson Jackson Moore. Our team won and I was high gun. You got to love church shoots where the trophy is a bottle of bourbon.

Nice going Harry. You and this cousin must have been tight.:)
Would love to see pictures of gun and case.

That will make a great article in PP. Great to hear from you Harry- it would be even better to see you at a PGCA event in the future.

That's great Harry!

We're all looking forward to the article.

Great shooting

We had a wonderful time. My son in law had not shot that much, but turned in a respectful score. My 16 year old grandson shot very well as he had been tutored since childhood. Our priest has hunted all his life and though clays were unfamiliar to him he did well. The sixteen year old's bourbon was turned over to his dad. The bottle, though empty, is Jacksons trophy. I wish I could say my kin were shooting Parkers as well, but they shared Papa's Browning 425 12 gauge. I promise that as they become more proficient I will handicap them with Parkers.

Great shooting Harry. I feel sorry for the old crowbar left sitting in the rack while you loligag around with your new fascination. Remember me if you ever decide to gift a certain 10 gauge.

Someone who likes Parkers would always shoot their best when fine Bourbon is on the line.

Episcopalian, no doubt. Maybe Reformed Methodist?
