P Grade 14 Ga. Hammerless
I did the Denver collectors gun show last week end and had a great time as usual with all the great guns around. I had another vendor walk up to my table and explain he bought (not at the show) what he thought and the seller thought was a P grade 12 gauge and he said he tried a 12 ga. Shell but that didn't fit so was thinking it maybe a 14 ga. I got out the Parker Gun identification & serialization book and looked it up and said congradulation you have a P grade 14 ga. And everything is as should be according to the book. He walked away a happy man and it was sold before the end of the show and not sure of the price but I guess they were both happy. Thomas

Thomas do you know Joe Williams. He sets up at that show every year. He owns the Gun works in Springfield Or.

Wayne: I don't know him but I'm sure I seen him if he was at the show. I would guess that if he had doubles at the show I probably talked to him anyway. It was the first time I was at this show but will return next year because of all the side by sides available.Thomas

He is in his eighty's Thomas. I talked with him yesterday and he said it was his last show. The drive and twenty five years of doing the show was to much for him. He did not renew his tables for next year. He mostly delt in muzzle loaders.

Wayne: I can understand at his age it does take a lot out of a person.I know of several people that are up in age that are doing the same. Thomas
