Very nice Bruce!

I had never seen the three stools with metal legs before.

For the last couple years I have acquired some good Charles Parker Co. Products for my collection. A piano stool is something that I always thought about, but I told myself that I would never go out searching for one or buy one of the many that are often on EBay and have to pay some awful amount of shipping for it or something. I just every time I came across a stool at a flea market or antique shop, I would flip it over and see who made it. If one day it happened to be a Parker stool and the price was right, I would buy it.

Well, today was the day. It was a Parker and I got it for only $35.00

Then the thought of, well now I need to find a place and purpose for it. I figured it would just end up in the corner of an unused room and collect dust. But when I got it home I found a great place for it in my living room and it serves the perfect purpose of housing a plant piece from my grandfather's funeral.

I have thought about getting one with the back on it to use putting on my shoes

Brian, I like your Mission sofa better! Nice use of the stool though.

We have one that I remember as being similar to #2 or #6. It's buried pretty deeply in the basement storage room; one day I'll have to dig it out and see who made it.
