My old VH

I've posted this one before, but it's fun to shoot and photo. I use it for my SXS fun shoots. If all goes well, I'll whack a TX turkey this week, using 1 oz of RST 6's in a 2.5" paper shell. Lots of fun shooting an over-100 yr old gun with vintage loads.

Nice gun Bob, I reserected a GH this weekend. It was so dirty you could hardly see the engraving. The stock was broke/cracked, missing the entire safety mechanism and other issues, but the screws were good and now after some cleaning and glue work it should Be a shooter. May be the first time this 1898 gun has fired at a target or game in many years, but tomorrow she will smile once again and fire just like she was intended too.

Beautiful guns, both of them.
Shoot them in good health and enjoy them.
