Trojan proof marks

Reading the Parker Pages and noticed the note on 217768 Trojan carrying the Parker Overload Proved stamp. I have Trojan #217126 and it does not have that stamp but it has Test D P B with U S A stamped under it. Is that a proof mark and does it have any special significance? It is a 20 ga. O frame with 28" barrels.

I've never seen or heard of that stamp. Can you please post a hi-res picture of it?

Sorry, new member to the forum, how do I attach photos?

Alfred Greeson 03-08-2015 01:16 AM

Send me an email to alfred.greeson@gmail.com and I will forward pictures that way.
Thank you,
Al.
