It's a small world (No, not Disneyworld)
Am on Sanibel Island, and was taking my Lab "Crazy Daisy" on a walk, wearing an RST hat, when I meet the next door neighbor (we're both seasonal renters) who sees my hat and says "Do you like old doubles?" I say "Yep" and the discussion begins. Turns out it's Joe Ross, who recently posted about Vent Rib Damascus guns. He and I have now had several nice talks, and our wives are both crafters of one sort or another. I think a couple of glasses of wine and dinner may be in our future. Old guns are the ties that bind.

You know there is some good hunting just east of Sanibel. You could really pass the time productive manner.Girls will never know your gone.

Bob - Is that a preserve or wild birds? Is there a contact number? Probably won't work for me this year, as the only gun I have down with me is a big, heavy K gun, and my dog is a flushing Lab.

We have a lot of wild birds but this year has been real wet so I have tried not pressure them.Bring a small bore next year and give it a try. Also snipe here and ducks.Got a quail hunt in the am so I'll let you know how it goes.

This is tough. The sweat is causing the suntan lotion to run into my eyes. Boy, does that sting!

Gary - Have you been to Gulf Coast Clays (aka Port of the Islands Gun Club) which is about 25 miles east of Naples on 41? Pretty nice track. Will be shooting there on Friday
